Confederation of European Baseball

What We Do

CEB establishes the specifications for equipment and facilities, and all internal executive regulations that must be applied to all international competitions, for which CEB also establishes the system of competition

CEB controls and governs the appointment of international technical commissioners, umpires and scorers within Europe

CEB regulates the transfer of players from one country to another within and from Europe

CEB controls and governs all European competitions, sanctioned by CEB

CEB organizes and runs development/education programs for coaches, umpires and scorers

 

Membership

Membership is open to each national federation, which is:

a legally recognized federation, association or organization in the country which it intends to represent

a member of the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) fulfilling the required conditions

recognized by IBAF as belonging, geographically, to the European continent as understood by IBAF

recognized by its National Olympic Committee, as the official body responsible for organizing baseball in the applicant's country

CEB member federations are fully independent and responsible in all their national matters.

Annual tournament for top level club teams (A-Pool: 2x6 teams, Qualifier/B-Pool: 4x6 teams)

European Champions Cup / Final Four
Annual tournament for the four top level club teams qualified from the European Cup A-Pool Tournament

European Championship for National Teams (Seniors)
Bi-annual (even years) championship for the national teams of member federations (12 qualified teams)

European Championship for National Teams (21&under)
Bi-annual (even years) championship for the 21&under national teams (under 21 years of age) of member federations (8 qualified teams)

European Championship for National Teams (Juniors)
Bi-annual (odd years) championship for the junior national teams (under 18 years of age) of member federations (10 qualified teams)

European Championship for National Teams (Cadets)
Annual championship for the cadet national teams (under 15 years of age) of member federations (8 qualified teams)

European Championship for National Teams (Juveniles)
Annual championship for the juvenile national teams (under 12 years of age) of member federations (free subscription)

CEB / Little League Qualifiers for Little League Baseball World Series
Annual qualifiers for juvenile club/district teams (under 12 years of age)
