17-18 January 2015 in Brest, Belarus held a seminar for coaches and players, organized by the Belarusian Baseball Association and the International Sports Group. The seminar was held with the support of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, the Brest City Executive Committee and the US Embassy in Belarus. To conduct clinics in Belarus came highly skilled professionals Rick Steen (ISG Team Leader), former Major League manager John McLaren and Mauro Mazzotti (T & A San Marino, Baltimore Orioles). This is the first visit of the envoys of International Sports Group in Eastern Europe. The seminar was attended by coaches from Belarus, Ukraine and Russia. The Clinic was held in a big Sport Complex in Brest with a big indoor facility and classrooms.
In the opening of the seminar was attended by heads of sports Brest Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Gluchenja and Brest City Executive Committee Prolisko Eugeny, Director of the National Olympic Committee in the Brest region Belokonenko Elena, Honorary Consul of France in Brest Leonid Staetsky, chairman of the Belarusian Baseball Association Nadiezhda Uglianitsa and director of the baseball-softball club Brest Zubrs Igor Lukashevich.
The seminar was opened throw the first pitch Head of the US Embassy in Belarus Scott Roland. He not only took part in the opening ceremony of the seminar, but also showed his baseball skills. In addition, Scott Roland visited the baseball stadium and other sports facilities of the city of Brest. In memory of his participation in the seminar Head of the US Embassy in Belarus has presented to all participants gifts.
After two intense days of work all the participants were awarded certificates.
