After winning the European Championship B-Pool in 2002 Greece for the first time participated in the European Championship in 2003 in the Netherlands. They accomplished their best-ever result with a second place finish behind the Dutch National Team, which won the title.

At the 2004 Olympic Games Greece finished in seventh place in the final standings. Since then Greece has participated in four more European Championships with a fourth-place finish in the 2010 European Championship in Germany being their second-best result in tournament history.

At the 2014 European Championship the Greek team went 1-4 during the first round with a 10-0 shutout over Croatia being their lone win during the preliminary stage. In the classification round for ranks 9th to 12th, Greece lost 4-10 to Great Britain and 0-2 to Sweden, but won a three-way tie over Sweden and Croatia to secure a spot in the A-Pool and to finish in tenth place in the final standings.

In European Baseball Greece has been mainly participating in adult competitions with the Greek National Team being their crowd puller. In club competitions Greece has participated and organized various European Cup Qualifiers throughout the past decade.
