National Team competitions to kick off this weekend!

Not only the U12 European Championship with a record breaking 14 participants will start in Budapest, Hungary, also on the Seniors level Baseball in Europe is back in action.

Euorpean Championship Playoff Series

Austria will face Lithuania for one of the two remaining spots at the European Baseball Championship 2019, which will be held in Germany. For both federations, a promotion to the A-pool would be a historic step. The Best-of-three Series between the two countries will be held in Wiener Neustadt, Austria. The Austrian Baseball Federation and the host club, the Wiener Neustadt Diving Ducks, are ready for a great tournament with new features like video wall and instant replays and willing to raise the bar for baseball events within Europe.

 The games are scheduled for Friday, June 29 at 7 PM (CET), Saturday, June 30 at 6 PM and, if necessary, Sunday, July 1 at 2 PM. All games from Wiener Neustadt will be produced by the organizer’s TV partner Playo.TV and broadcasted on with English commentary. For the first time in Austrian Televion, baseball will be shown live on free TV
