Netherlands are European Champions 2019!

The Kingdom of the Netherlands beat Italy in the final of the 35th European Baseball Championship, which took place this past week in Bonn and Solingen.

The Dutch Team could beat Italy in a great game in front of a packed stadium at the Ballpark Bonn Rheinaue. Kalian Sams was today's game winner, belting a Grand Slam home run, to start things off for the Netherlands. Italy only scored once and weren't able to deliver against this strong pitching stuff. The final score was 5:1.
